5 Steps to Getting to the First Page on Google with Any Keyword [Case Study]

For those of you who play in local markets such as online shops (olshop), adsense with Indonesian language content, or services / services such as blogging, design, photography, car rental and so on (with targeted local users), you can rank the web on Google.co .id (Google Search Engine for Indonesia) is one of the right ways to maximize your business potential.
Being number 1 or top in search (not via adwords) certainly makes your web potential visited to be greater than just page one.
To be able to rank the web / blog on local search, there are 3 main factors that you should pay attention to, namely:
1. Website / blog content using Indonesian (on-page)
2. Get a backlink from a website / blog with an Indonesian hosting server (off-page)
3. Get backlinks from websites / blogs with the main content in Indonesian (off-page)
For the first point it does not need to be explained further, you must have understood. There is no way we want to rank the web on Google.co.id search but use English content, or even French, Spanish and so on. Even if later it can be no. 1 on Google.co.id, who wants to read our content? Because local visitors are certainly the majority of local content sought.

For this second point I will not discuss it too long, because even if it is influential, I never check up to the IP hosting server when deciding whether to install backlinks on a web or not. Because even if it turns out the server is not Indonesia, backlinks from the web are still useful for ranking my web on other Google Search Engines, Google.com for example.
Based on my experience in optimizing local web, the percentage of searches on Google.co.id and Google.com for local content is almost balanced, so optimizing the web only for Google.co.id and ignoring Google.com is certainly very detrimental (update 2016: for local content the number of searches on Google.co.id is much more because Google.com if opened by local visitors is often an automatic redirect to Google.co.id).
For the third point, this is sometimes still being asked. How do I get backlinks from an Indonesian web-site? Which backlink sources can be used ??
Here I list various backlink sources from Indonesian-language blogs that you can use to maximize your web position on Google.co.id search:
1. Blogpost (Guest Post)
This backlink is the most difficult to find, but in my opinion the best quality. Getting backlinks from blog post / articles on the local language web is certainly very good for off-page web because we get backlinks with relevant content. So that the backlinks obtained are more powerful, look for a web that is old enough, has a permanent reader, and if possible seniche with our Money Site.
Usually I buy a blogpost from blogger diaries (I hope you understand my point), arguing that their blog has not been contaminated with various types of monetize such as blogger blogger blogs: D It doesn't matter if their blog still hangs on free blogs like blogspot and wordpress .
What needs to be noted, usually blogger diary writing is more flowing, more natural with everyday language and certainly more unique. And what is clear, blogpost on blogs like this is more likely to get click visits than blogpost on a special review blog (PTR). People say "Google follows people" and in my opinion the more often a backlink gets clicks (visits) the greater the possibility that these backlinks are considered quality by Google.
To get this type of backlink you can browse the communities of local bloggers or blogwalking on local blogs. Of the 1 blog that you find you can easily find other blogs because usually these bloggers often exchange comments, link exchanges, award exchanges and so on.
2. Blogroll
Blogroll is quite powerful, but with a greater risk. Why ? Because the links on the blogroll are not in the article. So it could be that in a page he is relevant to the article on the page, but on another page (on the same blog) he is not relevant to the content of the article.
Blogroll also includes massive links, especially if placed on a web that already has hundreds or thousands of pages. Except if you install blogroll with the homepage only (not sidewide) setting.
To get a blogroll on a local blog, the way is almost the same as point 1 above (blogpost).
Two things you need to remember before deciding to buy a link on blogroll:
- Make sure your Money Site is strong and stable to get enough links at the same time. My guidelines, usually if the blog has got a sitelink on Google. Don't make a blogroll link when the Money Site is 1-2 months old if you don't want Penguin to be annexed.
- Search for blogs with relevant niches, so that the massive links that you can are not too spammy.
3. Blog Comment
Manual or auto, make sure the percentage of comments is more on the web with a dofollow comment link. For the list you can search yourself on Google.
4. Social Bookmark
You can also search the list yourself on Google. What I don't like about this backlink is that the list of websites is quite limited. And usually, the popular social network has turned their backlinks into nofollow, using frames, stuffing pop-up advertisements and so on. Dirty tricks and very annoying huh ...
If you are painstaking enough, you can browse local social bookmarking sites that are still new, usually backlinks on their website are still dofollow and pages are not slow due to most banners.
5. Forum Post
The forum post here means backlinks on local forum sites, either by creating a new thread (Thread starter) or by commenting on an existing thread.
Some local forums that I usually use:

The three forums above have dofollow links, auto approve and of course the authority at the root of the domain. For local forums there are still many lists like Merdeka.com, Detik.com, Viva.co.id, Indowebster and so on. But unfortunately, most are followed and moderated.
For other local forums that are dofollow and auto approve you can search by yourself, I am sure there are many others.
6. Forum Signature / Profile
Same as point no. 5, this time the backlink is placed in the Signature or Profile section (about me).
7. Web 2.0
Web 2.0 is quite numerous, including:
blogspot.com
wordpress.com
tumblr.com
weebly.com
blog.com
Blogdetik.com
LautanIndonesia.com
etc.
By making Web 2.0 itself a dummy blog, you can create backlinks with the type of blog post or blogroll. Of course with the main content in Indonesian.
8. Create Your Own Blog Network
